STUCK INSIDE? STAY HEALTHY WITH WELLNESS IDEAS FOR KIDS BY KIDS
Take care of your body, it is the only place you live
OUR STORY
Since the coronavirus is speeding around at such a quick speed, schools are closed, supermarkets have shut down, and even the busiest streets only have 1 or 2 people walking. Every grade 3 student of the BCIS community would like to do something for people who are stuck inside because of the virus. We believe that with good use of the Wellness Wheel and with a positive feeling, everybody can defeat the coronavirus. We provide a range of interesting videos and brochures for you to explore the body systems, helpful exercises to keep you fit, and more things to help people who are affected by the coronavirus.
OUR PROJECTS
We are doing this project because we want you to be positive, healthy, and fit during the time when you are stuck indoors. We have included activities, exercises, and information for your health. You will also learn about different body systems, how they work, and how to keep it healthy. We wish you will have a good time exploring them.
CIRCULATORY SYSTEM
Come on everyone! Let’s learn about the circulatory system! It is the blood transport network. Blood delivers oxygen and nutrients to cells so they can convert them into energy. Then, it carries away waste products created by this energy-making process. It’s the most important system in your body!
RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
My breath! My breath! The respiratory system helps your body to breath. Without breathing, almost no species can’t survive. The lungs and airways of the respiratory system deliver oxygen and also expel waste carbon dioxide. So come and learn about the interesting respiratory system. Remember, breathing is VERY important!
SKELETAL SYSTEM
My bones! The 206 bones in your body make up a system called: the skeletal system. It helps us to move around easily and protects organs. Together, those bones create a strong but light frame work. Your skeletal system makes your body a real “rack” which make up our body a perfect shape. Let’s explore the “rack” of our body!
